Rapierstar fasteners are all manufactured to the highest quality standards, tested at the point of manufacture, and again in Rapierstar’s own unique Technical Centre - incorporating a complete test facility.
Every box of Rapierstar screws carries its own “batch number”, which provides full traceability. You can be assured that all Rapierstar screws meet and exceed all known national and international standards, quality tested ensuring your fasteners meet consistent high specification.
Rapierstar branded screws conform to relevant CPR Harmonised Standards and carry CE marking. Fenestration fixings conform to BS 7412:2007; Specification for windows and doorsets made from PVC-U and doors fabricated with correct StarPVCU screws exceed PAS 24:2012; Enhanced security performance requirements for doorsets and windows.
In addition to independent UKAS testing, Rapierstar provide a 10 year warranty on StarPVCU Austenitic and Martensitic series Stainless Steel fixings, supplied by Rapierstar Ltd and used within BPF/GGF guidelines.
This covers a guarantee of replacement screws, if structural failure of the StarPVCU screw itself is due to corrosion from normal atmospheric elements within a period of 10 years from the date of fabrication.
